LASER

A Light Amplification by Simulated Emission of Radiation (LASER) is a device used to light in a narrow beam. Laser is often used as a noun. Yet it is actually an acronym. LASER is used only for convenience.

The light comes from a laser, are fine and in line. Laser light differs from the forward view of normal atoms. Radiate light atoms are random, so the light that is inconsistent as a referee. Basically this means that the atoms emit beams of photons that go in different directions. Coherent light is very different, which is based on a clear direction.

For a coherent laser light atoms of the law should be used to create the right environment for the atoms emit light at a given time and in a certain direction. The atoms or molecules of gases, liquids, glass or other materials used in lasers. These atoms are excited in a laser cavity, so that most of them at the highest level of energy, while the reflective surfaces in the cave in to the power display, so that they accumulate. Through a process called stimulated emission, the emitted photons with corresponding frequencies and phases. Finally there is a rapid chain reaction, the performance of the atoms and the production of coherent light.

The laser made his debut in 1960. Since then, lasers have a long way. They are available in different sizes, of which about the size of a grain of sand on the size of some buildings. Despite these changes, most lasers produce beams that are very thin and able to keep the size and, of course, even if you travel long distances.

Lasers are used for an incredible variety of things. They have many important applications in modern medicine, including laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) eye surgery. Also important in the production of many construction processes, as well as military and scientific applications. Many people have focused on laser printer to print professional-looking documents with ease. Even components, lasers are important, Compact Disc (CD) and digital video disc (DVD).
